New Year, New Amusement Park Writing!

Happy New Year everyone! I have always been a big fan of New Year’s Celebrations and Resolutions. Sometimes I get the feeling that New Year’s is an unpopular holiday. To me it seems like people would rather just sleep, maybe they’re burnt out from everything between Thanksgiving and Christmas, They don’t like the idea of New Year’s Resolutions, They’d rather save time and money not doing anything, or it’s just personally not that important to them. And those are all fair and valid reasons. But for me, for whatever reason, I strongly relate to the themes of getting good starts for new times in our lives, and for celebrating everything fun we did in the old year and looking forward to good times in the new year.

I have done New Year’s resolutions in the past to varying degrees of success. I find it hilarious that January 9th or the second Friday of January has infamously become ‘quit-your-resolution’ day. For younger fans a good resolution might be first time upside down or if you were scared of a ride before but you haven’t been on it yet, try it once to see if you might like it now. With all of that in mind, I will officially declare my…
